My joy as a therapist is watching clients discover their true worth: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that despite their shortcomings, they are deserving of love. I want every person I work with to feel safe and accepted for who they are, while also being challenged to grow in the areas that matter most to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people come to therapy carrying painful stories about who they are and what has happened to them. My hope is to walk alongside them as they begin authoring new ones, stories marked by connection, growth, and a life that feels like their own again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my work, I lead with warmth and care. I create a space where clients can be truly known without judgment, and where we can also lean into the hard places together and grow. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered therapy, and I adapt to what each client needs most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much of our work centers on meaning. I often invite clients to slow down and ask, “What does this mean to me?” Meaning is what adds color to an otherwise black-and-white world. Anchoring all of this is my faith that God loves every person, and that in being loved, we learn to love ourselves and grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Shann sees clients Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
    Rate: $120 for a 50 minute session
