I work with individuals, children, teens, and couples who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also support clients who are carrying complex emotional or relational experiences and are seeking clarity, stability, and relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m passionate about walking alongside people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Many people come to therapy feeling restless inside\u2014like something is off, even if they can\u2019t quite name it. Others feel worn down by carrying too much for too long. Therapy can be a space to slow down, take a breath, and feel less alone. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your authentic self, and explore what feels meaningful to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My hope is to help you feel more relief, peace, and hope, and to move toward a life that feels more whole, grounded, and genuinely satisfying.  Supporting people as they rediscover their identity and take steps toward lasting change is deeply meaningful to me. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy animals, gardening, travel, photography, art, music, and connecting with friends and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My approach to therapy is holistic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed, attending to emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual aspects of well-being. I hope to create a space that feels gentle, patient, and nonjudgmental, where you are met with respect and care exactly as you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe healing happens through safe relationships, thoughtful exploration, and practical tools that support real-life change. Therapy is collaborative, and we move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are seeking relief from distress or a greater sense of wholeness and hope, my goal is to walk alongside you as you discover meaningful and sustainable ways forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BA in Social Science, Bethany University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MA in Counseling Psychology, Jessup University (In Progress)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My training includes Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also bring a background in spiritual formation and international ministry, and have experience working with children, teens, college students, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schedule & Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lori sees clients on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Rate: $80 for a 50 minute session
(sliding scale available with financial assistance application)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
