Passion
The answers we seek are within us and sometimes our abilities to access them can be clouded, there is no shame in that. I know what that feeling of being stuck is like firsthand. With my training and life experience, I can help you reach greater self-awareness and insight by learning how to identify and understand patterns, thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Everyone should have a safe space to open up with resources and tools available to them to help uncover their capabilities and facilitate healing. Whether you’re up against anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transition, grief, stress or just need someone to talk to, I would be honored to walk alongside of you on your journey to self-discovery.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, yoga, cooking and spending quality time with my husband and four children ages 8-22. I am currently learning about breathwork, meditation, and anything that helps me to find a sense of calmness in this fast-paced world we live in.
Approach
My approach is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to heal and have open discussion. Since we are all uniquely created, I like to use interventions tailored to each of my client’s needs. I lean towards a holistic approach that incorporates the biopsychosocial spiritual model. The modalities I typically pull from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy. My goal is to empower my clients while restoring balance to improve the overall quality of life.
