Passion

I have a heart for relationships and a deep desire for other people to live in healthy relationships. It is my passion to help provide a safe, trusting relationship where you can process the deep pains and challenges of life, that will allow you to grow through them and assimilate them into strengths of who you are.

I have a passion for working with people experiencing grief and loss. I have experience working with individuals, couples and families through pregnancy, infant and child loss, as well as caring for children with chronic and terminal diagnosis, while navigating the challenges this brings to relationships and family life. I have training and experience in helping couples through relational wounds and conflict. I can support you in learning healthy communication skills, how to heal from your past and present wounds and/or betrayals and how to be reconnected and unified towards your present and future.

I also have experience working with children and love supporting them as they too, explore what it means to be human and in relationships. It is my heart that children learn how to be healthy children who can grow into healthy adults.

Approach

My approach is from the biopsychosocial-spiritual model that provides a holistic view of human well-being, acknowledging the interconnectedness of the mind, body, relational and spiritual aspects of a person. I believe our wellness can be deeply impacted positively or negatively based on relational and environmental factors, our lifestyle, and our spirituality. Let’s get to the root of the struggle through a strong, therapeutic alliance and support through theoretical approaches from Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman’s Marital Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I am also Trauma-Informed and will support you through learning how trauma has impacted you mind, body and spirit.
